Please visit your town's Navigator site by clicking on one of the towns' listed above and connect with others in your community.

LocalSource.com has a unique website for each of the towns we serve. Each has all the news, sports and obituaries you have found here in the past but these new sites are created by and for the residents, organizations and businesses of each community they serve. The websites are designed with features that contain content-rich profile pages, including videos, photos, images and text that tell each person or group's story.

Each site, which will be free to residents and nonprofits of our two communities, will feature a comprehensive, local-only business directory, coverage of community news, schools and sports, an active events calendar, weekly contests and much more, all within a social networking platform similar to those found on Facebook and Twitter.

The sites will enable people to connect with each other, make new friends, share videos, music and photos, participate in groups and forums, voice their opinion and become an active member of the local online community dialogue. Local businesses that participate will receive a unique, content-rich Profile Page listed under multiple categories in our easy-to-use directory.

Each business Profile Page will feature video, photos, design and copy that showcase local businesses as dynamically as possible. Business owners may also use the local social platform to network with their customers, reach out to new people, participate in groups, create contests and have people start thinking about them online. We like to call this “word-of-mouse” marketing, and we will supply allthe tech-savvy knowhow a business will need to participate.

Our newspapers will provide news content for each site, filled with photographs, video, events, profiles and late-breaking news,a ll of which expands our ability to share community news with the residents. We’re officially launching these new sites throughout the early fall; however, some of the sites are live right now and we have already begun to post a wide assortment of must-read community news. Residents are welcome to visit and see what everyone in our towns will be talking about in the months to come. In preparation for the upcom-ing launch, we invite local businesses to contact us about creating their own Profile Page.

To schedule a Profile Page building consultation, call Kurt Schwartz at 973-597-5122 or e-mail him at kurt@mytownnavigator.com . Nonprofits, such as houses of worship, community organizations, clubs, teams and fundraising committees, are also encouraged to become active members of this on-line community. Nonprofit groups may have a Profile Page, complete with video, photos, music, graphics and text, built for them free of charge and in time for the fall launch.

Participating groups will beable to create stronger member connections, make new friends and spread the word about the positive impact they are having in our communities. Nonprofit groups wishing to learn more about a free site should also contact Kurt at 973-597-5122 or send an e-mail to kurt@mytownnavigator.com .
